Construction
of a new state-of-the-art outdoor ice skating rink facility.
Work included site grading, concrete, masonry, roofing, mechanical
and electrical work. The refrigeration contract was held directly
by the Owner, but was coordinated and supervised by Brown Building
Company. Sitework included the installation of a large detention
system below the surface parking lot. Brown Building Company
provided 23 value engineering items, generating a credit of $137,000
prior to the award of the general construction contract. Work
was completed in 14 weeks from start of excavation to completion
of the mechanical building and refrigeration start-up and commissioning. |
